Our voyage to Kerala in May of 2015

Was full of experiences and wonders, nothing short of pristine

We started our trip at Somatheeram in Trivandrum

To the beaches of Varkala, and the backwaters of Kumarakom

We travelled East to the spice villages of Thekkady

Then to Munnar, filled with plantations of tea

We then ended our trip with a group dinner in Kochi

Also known to as “the Queen of the Arabian Sea”

Our coconut, jackfruit, and mango consumption was definitely intense

Morning yoga, roadside coconuts, cows in the streets

Indian tea, Indian spices, and few Indian sweets

Always a wild ride, whether you’re in a rickshaw or jeep

Through bustling cities, small villages, and windy mountains so steep

A truly memorable voyage for our group of 25

Who went home full-bellied & rested, feeling more alive

Fond memories, new friendships, fascinating sights were seen

“God’s Own Country” they call it, Kerala 2015

what our travelers have to say

“I’ve Loved the spontaneous times when schedules were changes (picnic lunch at unplanned family residence, bus breakdown , “washroom stops”, whenever needed) Thank you for organizing a tour in Abu Dhabi during our 9 hour layover – Loved the mosque, restaurant and market. You – Sjonum & Philippe looked after our every need, stopping for coconuts, mangoes, water, more water etc. The whole entourage has been pitching in every moment helping to make this trip super fun! The outings have been “amazing. Beyond AMAZING! This trip has been Merveilleux! Utkrisht! Excellent! Fun!

– Pam

“Sjonum & Phil – First a huge thanks to you (and the entire entourage) for making us all feel like a part of your family – almost as wonderful as having grandchildren! The stay at Somatheeram was a super way to ease into the trip and it has only gotten better since (tho’ the mosque at Abu Dhabi was incredible). You guys have done an amazing job organizing all of this and the fact that we get such skilled food and yoga leadership makes it all the more fulfilling (underline the filling!) Great Work!”

– Larry

“Having a wonderful time in Kerala! Sjonum & Phil are amazing! Loving the itinerary. Yoga, temples, visiting the elephants, and the salads and foods Phil has prepared are exquisite! Coconuts at every turn – Love it ! I could not think of better people to show me several areas of India which was why I decided to come. I have no complaints. For me, you have shared your techniques of both yoga and nutrition and many more things. Your choices of hotels, shopping, local markets, and areas in Kerala are wonderful. Much Gratitude!”
